I hate to be so critical, but I feel like the manufacturer of this product has never actually used a fork before. This product has the same sturdiness and feel of a tongue depressor from the doctor's office.
This product is kind of like a Spork without the bowl part of the spoon. The tines of the folk are so short you can't really dig into your food and securely attach it to the fork. This product performed best when used to wind up spaghetti. In fact, I would consider calling this a spaghetti fork.
This isn't the type of product I would hand out at a barbeque and I am having a hard time getting the rest of my family to use them.
I am sure there is a place for this type of product. Here are a few ideas:
-Spaghetti
-Mixing Powdered Drinks
-Hiking/Backpacking where they can be used as kindling afterwards
-Mixing paints or other craft ideas
Overall, this product does not have the same functionality as a real fork. They may be a good alterative to plastic forks if you are looking to be environmentally friendly, but at this rate, you might as well use a reusable fork. I can't recommend this product.
